The mobile Web is growing at eight times the speed of the Internet, yet many organizations (some reports show up to 79%) still don’t have a mobile site. With a staggering 95% of smartphone owners using mobile search, a mobile-optimized site and mobile search strategy can now be considered necessities rather than luxuries.
This effort becomes even more imperative when one looks beyond the United States. In China, for example, 38% of the Internet population are mobile-only users. Brazil is close behind at 33% and the UK comes in strong at 25%.
